Back in 2009 (I see now that is was, thought it was 2010), an acquaintance and I, visited the Legislative building in Fredericton. Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick … the province in which we live. We walked around in there, not really knowing what to do. We were both new to DSLR cameras, so we were at the same level there. It was hot. It was one of those days I’ll never forget because I thought I was going to die. She thought so too, she told me afterwards.
In any event, we were standing in this old building, when I just happened to look up. That really paid off, as what I saw was the above, lovely, spiral staircase. This is the one and only shot I took. As I said, I was new to all this and knew nothing about .RAW format, or anything else, so I was just lucky. I had one lens and that was the kit-lens 18-55mm.
