It’s officially Spring now, as of today, but this Winter … tame as it was … hasn’t said its last words yet. There’s a, possibly powerful, nor’easter approaching, so tomorrow we could see at least 20 centimetres of snow. High winds too.
When we listen to, or read, weather forecasts here, we’re easily led to believe that all bad weather is “made up” in Cape Hatteras. It sounds almost as if everything begins there … the storms are always brewing in Cape Hatteras 🙂
I’d like to go there … not just Cape Hatteras but the Outer Banks, NC. Guess it started when I read the novel «Nights in Rodanthe» by Nicholas Sparks [it’s a film too, but I haven’t seen it]. Before that, I don’t think I was even aware of the Outer Banks existed, but now I know, and there’s even a place namned Duck! On the other hand … there are so many places I’d like to go, and how much happier would it make me afterwards?
