down time [18/365]

My page was down for almost two days. It was so bad so I had to call my host [GoDaddy]. In the weekends they don’t have the online chat support, which I much prefer. Not until now, midday Monday, it was sorted out and the page is up again. Otherwise I couldn’t type this, obviously. I must underscore that it wasn’t their  fault. If it was anyone’s fault, it was my ignorance … I had changed something, and thought it was easier than it was.

All this time, I was almost desperate to get it back up again, and now that I’m here … I’m wondering «What was so urgent … what was it I wanted to say?!» 😀

    1. When I separated tassitus.com from WordPress.com, I had to change the nameservers. I did that, but there was another place too, where I had to change and I guess I missed out on that one.

  1. Downtime is the worst time. Whether you have a thousand visitors or one. Welcome back! I’ll think of you the next time I cause my web to go down…

    1. Yeah, talk about frustrating, as there’s nothing you can ‘physically’ do. Usually there’s some stupid plugin that causes it, but now it was just the change.

  2. I am so glad you are ‘back’!
I have been having ‘down time’ too….Sinusitis with Fever kind of down time 😦
And I am surprised G Daddy do not have tech support 24/7. That as we used to say in the 70’s is a ‘real downer’!!!! 😉
