Windows Live Writer

Now I have it again. That’s actually the one thing in Windows I’ve never forgotten about … because it was so good. I still feel the same way, so I hope it’s not one of the things they’ll remove with the Win10 update.

  1. So you know I have to ask…what is Windows Live Writer??? Is that where you use one device & then upload & post onto PC??
(I am trying to sound knowledgeable here) 😉

    1. No, it’s just a little blog editor. You can write there, and then you hit the Publish-button and it flies to WordPress. I really don’t know why I like it so much … when I can just as well write in WordPress the ordinary way LOL

      1. I would be lost trying to do what you do. It took me a long time to master 360/Multiply & when I came to WP I was worried it would be ‘over my head’. For the most part I find WP easy to navigate. I do not get into anything fancy because I am afraid of messing the blog up…..that would NOT be a good thing>> rofwl 😉

        1. Honestly, I don’t know why I liked that so much … but I did. It seems many people do — I did a search once, to see if there was anything similar for Mac. You wouldn’t believe how many had asked the same question. In any event … writing in WP the usual way works just as well, of course! It was just some kind of hang-up I had 🙂

  2. I have never heard about that?, I tried to search on my PC, and it hasnt heard about it either LOL.

    1. Hej Annette,
It has to be downloaded — it’s part of Windows Essentials. There are four items in the Essentials, so you’ll be given a choice to either install all, or pick the ones you want. Windows Live Mail is another part, and the other two I forget 🙂
