I did something really dumb in Gmail. It was a mistake, it happened in a split second and now I can’t seem to correct it.

Somehow … still don’t know how it happened, but I had all email selected and hit ‘Archive’. That emptied my Sent folder. They’re all in one big, unordered heap in ‘All Mail’.

Created a filter, selected all my sent email and tried to move them to Sent Mail, but that’s not possible ~snif~!

I sent you an email yesterday, but to the icloud one. Nothing important, just shared an article.
Anyway, the situation with a chaotic email doesn’t sound good.

Oh dear, that’s so frustrating. Cold comfort is that they are all still there I suppose. Hope you find a solution. It might be a silly question, but have you googled it to see if there is a solution to the problem?

No, but I was thinking of searching in the Google forums. I thought I would be able to move all the ones from me to the Sent, but no … for some reason that couldn’t be done. We’ll see if I find something … otherwise I have to let go 🙂

OH no Rebby! Sounds like you will have some fun sorting this mess out! Mind you, if anyone can do it…it is YOU!! I wish I could help but you know how techno challenged I am, hahahaha!

Somehow it doesn’t make sense to be able to “Archive” something and then not be able to access that archive. (Meanwhile, chin up & keep digging; )

Yeah well … here’s where the OCD comes into play; they’re all accessibly, but I want them back in my Sent folder 🙂

I can move them to other folders, but not Sent.
