ice and snow

Ice and snow can make for some pretty pictures. The thousands of people still in the dark after the ice-storm probably don’t care too much about that. We got snow yesterday, and with the ice still in place on the trees, it looked very frosty when I got up today. Here, in our building, we’ve had light and felt toasty all throughout this ordeal.

  1. It is beautiful. I can tell that we here had the warmest lillejuleaftensdag and juleaftensdag ever and this December has been the next warmest ever measured in DK – we started measuring about 1860.- The winter will come here, I am very sure.

    1. Oh I’m sure you’ll get it too. I was looking at last year’s photos, and then it was really going back and forth! Green grass on the golf course one day, and plenty of snow next …

  2. Beautiful picture!!! I’m glad that you are doing fine! But I do feel sorry for all that do not have any power…

We still have no snow here and I see that Denmark too have a warm winter so far. I’m sure we’ll get our share with ice and snow this winter too.

  3. Wow what a perspective from your floor…it looks like a ‘snow city’ there…so relieved you did not lose power or feel the cold 😉
