  1. Great photo – I like the amount of roadway you have shown – and there is something about the framing that makes me engage with the scene. Good work.

    1. Thank you, David ๐Ÿ™‚
At first, I was trying for the reflections of the tree, but then again … I just thought it looked alright like that.

  2. It looks like a very cozy place to live. I imagine all the people inside the houses along the road next to a crackling fire place sipping tea. So different from California. Thanks for sharing your neighborhood!

    1. Thank you, Janine!
I think, this particular part actually could be cosy. All these little houses were built for returning soldiers after WWII. So the people living there, are either very old now, or young families..

      1. Sounds a little bit like my neighborhood. Except when the old person moves out a developer tears down the house (shack) and builds a nice new home. So all the young people, like us, live in new homes while all the older people live in run down homes. This neighborhood used to be a poor part of town. Pretty soon there will be none of the old houses left. Good thing is that no one has to leave until they want to or have to for health. Some people buy the houses and refurbish them if the house has good “bones”.

        1. These ones here, are kind of fun to look at, knowing that they were pretty much identical from the beginning. People have been very creative, with their extensions … and most of them are very well kept up..

    1. Oh I definitely think so too, Barb … all in their own way. I like that type of reflections on a rainy day … also from car headlights ..

      Thank you so much..

  3. That’s an excellent photo, it really portrays the cold and damp of winter. I love the way the road leads the eye into the pic, images like that usually make me want to walk the route……..but it looks a tad too cold ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. I love this photo Rebby!!! The road is shimmery as if coated in black ice!!!! I love the trees as they are stark & draw the eyes right into the photo!!!
Another great job my friend ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. Thank you, Linda …
Yes, a new theme. The thing was; I used to have a paid for upgrade, but didn’t want to renew it. Then, the previous theme didn’t do it for me, because the title was HUGE … it looked stupid ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Not what I expected!
Knowing you live in a high apartment building — it surprises me (although it shouldn’t) that there are small houses and such a wide-open neighborhood nearby.

    1. Yes, it looks kind of funny, when you see it from the other direction — this huge building is sort of looming large over this whole neighbourhood..
