Well it does have it all, good lighting, composition, an awesome leading line, the nice sharp bird, and the out of focus “mystery man.” Is he contemplating his life’s decisions, or what’s for dinner. Or, if it were my wife, “when the hell is he going to take the picture so we can get going?” π
Really great. Is the guy in the back leaning on the same fence as the bird?
Thanks! Yeah, same fence …and he’s my husband π
Good one!
Thanks, David!
Great photo π
Thank you!
This is a nice picture indeed – and a good interpretation of the subject.
Thank you .. Danke π

Hi,
I love how you got the bird as the main subject in the front, well done. π
Mags,
Thanks! In fact, the bird was sitting there long enough to give me time to experiment π
I love the DOF and how the fence leads from one subject to the next.
Thanks Jeff!
Those two things made me choose this photo ..the fence and the DoF.

probably the latter π
I feel your pain π

Joss,
Thank you so much! The bird helped me …at the Reversing Falls.
by focusing on bird, you actually saw more than you thought. hmmmmmm, must be a life lesson in there somewhere.
LOL yes, could be… Β«always focus on the birdΒ»
as long as it’s not someone giving you the bird. hee hee.
no, the bird must always be FREE
