    Hi,
Very interesting history to these mysteries stones, as you know I love places like this. 😀
This one in Sweden is unique in the sense that the stones are shaped like a ship, each stone weights just under 2 tonnes. Back in the late 1980’s archaeologists decided to check the site out, it is all fascinating to me. Great photo that you chose for the theme.

Thank you, Mags … Being there, way up, with the sea way down below … these ancient rocks and all … was kind of thought provoking. The wings of history makes you think of all the ones that came before you…

It is! And the view … with the sea in front of it… and the wind … makes for an incredible atmosphere. This was a place I’d always wanted to see … in a part of my own country where I’d never been before..

Thanks Barb … I went through all of them [that I’d shot there], and kind of liked this one the best..
