water drop on cd

Last night, I decided to give this another try. Bought a small flash light the other day. Very reasonable price $1.19.

Took a whole slough of photos but none of them came out even remotely like what I wanted. This one was the closest. I just got tired of it, so instead I sat down and watched the second egg being laid in the eagles nest out in Decorah, IA. The marvels of modern technology. Last season, I watched them hatch until they fledged.

By the way, when we were having supper yesterday, a bald eagle flew by, outside our windows … really close, this time … I could see all the details.

Thank you… I think this must be a matter of how they place the flashlight..

      Thanks Karina,
The set-up is real easy …a CD, water drops and a flash light …then — to get some awesome effects seems to be a whole different story. I saw such beautiful stuff online, before I started!

Oh cool, I’ll check those out. Good timing, my car cd player ate all my cds, then randomly let me get them back out. Whew. No more feeding the cd player, but now I have a bunch lying around on my coffee table. Time to play! 🙂

    Hi,
Wow, I love it, so different, and the colours are very pretty. Well done. 🙂

I bet you wished you had your camera all set up when the eagle flew by, they are just so quick at times.

Yes, that would have been something, but then again … there are the dirty windows! So I was just happy to see him..
