Can’t really make up my mind about those blogging platforms, but I wanted to have ‘one foot’ left in WordPress. I like both and I don’t have to think about it now … I can think about it tomorrow or any other day. Wasn’t it Scarlett who said that in Gone with the Wind?!
This is my new ID in WordPress. I’ve had several, for different reasons, but now this is It! CoolCat was already taken, naturally.
To edit the gawdawful brown colour in the header would cost me thirty bucks a year, or I’d choose a different theme. I’ve been through all of them. If I like the fonts, it doesn’t accept custom background or the background gets underneath the posts. Twenty eleven I can’t stand the black navigation bar. If I could get rid of the nav bar there, I’d probably use that. I know, I know … I’m either picky or I have some kind of OCD 🙂
One month exactly has gone by, that I’ve been away from the Daily Post. I think it was good for me to have that, even though it felt a little intrusive at times.
All of the above is free thoughts … just as they came out of my mind and as fast as my fingers could type, and that’s pretty fast — I haven’t done much else in my grown-up life, but …. typed.
Perhaps I write better/easier if nobody reads the damned stuff. I won’t link this page to Facebook or any other place — that way, perhaps I can relax a little and just write about whatever I feel like.
UPDATE: Went back to theme TwentyEleven –I once again found the website that told me how to get rid of the black nav bar! Here’s the link — it’s an extremely useful site with regards to WordPress themes! http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/
