quote

I might not be someone’s first choice, but I am a great choice. I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not, because I’m good at being me. I might not be proud of some of the things I’ve done in the past, but I am proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect, but I don’t need to be. Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away.

    1. I found that quote online somewhere, but nobody seems to know who originally wrote it. Either way; yes! It really should be put up on the mirror!

  1. Hi,
What a fantastic quote, and oh so true, just be yourself, this is my motto, although I would never had been able to put it in such a great way. 😀

    1. Me either, and I really wish I could find out who did. I’ve googled the whole thing, and got oodles of hits but noone knew… I really like this quote.

  2. This quote is vaguely familiar. I’ve probably heard it too somewhere, but it would be fun to know who said it. I have a poem my father supposedly wrote to me when I was 5 or 6, I still have it, but I don’t know if he really truly wrote it! It’s really good. I tried to see if I could find out but could’t find it anywhere on the Internet. It’s frustrating. I asked him a few years ago if I could publish it, but he told me to be careful because he can’t remember if he “lifted” it from somewhere. So I’m back at square one 🙂

    1. Yeah, that’s the internet … so much stuff floating around, that nobody knows any more who really wrote it. I found it somewhere, on someone’s page who didn’t either know..
That’s a shame about your father’s poem, but at least you still have it 🙂
